• As part of our mentoring program, which we started in the 2013-2014 academic year, we match our senior students with a METU Economics graduate who knows the field they want to work in. When making the matches, we take into account the overlap of our graduate's work area with the interests of our students. Our mentors answer the questions of our students and share their experiences with them via e-mail, phone, and face-to-face meetings from time to time.
  • In the mentoring program, we have many experienced graduates, from company CEOs to former Central Bank governors, from academics working abroad to policymakers who have directed economic policy, and recent graduates who can convey the latest situations encountered during employment.
  • Our students, who are about to graduate, take advantage by making their plans in the light of the experiences shared by the mentors. Our recent graduates state that they have significantly benefited from the interviews they have had within the scope of the mentoring program in terms of recruitment processes and academic applications. Our mentoring program, which has been expanded to include junior students since last year, makes METU Economics graduates privileged.
