Erasmus and Exchange Programs
Last Updated:
International student mobility programs at METU—including Erasmus+ European Mobility, Erasmus+ Internship Mobility, Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility (ICM), Overseas Exchange Programs, and the Mevlana Exchange Program—are coordinated by the METU International Cooperations Office (ICO). For all administrative procedures and conditions, students are advised to consult the ICO directly.
The Department of Economics applies the following specific rule for undergraduate students participating in Erasmus+ European Mobility and Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility (ICM):
• The courses taken during the Erasmus/Exchange mobility can only be substituted if a grade of CC or above is received. Must courses cannot be substituted, only elective courses can be substituted at METU upon return from Erasmus/Exchange.
