The ECON210 course will be offered to students who have never taken the course before, as well as those who have taken it previously but passed with a grade of DD or failed with a lower grade.

Only students whose departments list ECON210 as a must or elective course in the fall or spring semester, can take it during the summer. If the course is not listed for your department, you won't be able to register.

The semester in which ECON210 is available to students is determined by their departments, and no changes can be made on this subject.

Capacity increases for the ECON210 course will be made on Thursday and Friday at 10:00 a.m., depending on the current capacity status.

If they are unable to enroll, students who are in their graduation semester or who have previously passed the course with a grade of DD or DC and are currently on probation must contact the course assistants via email by 12:00 p.m. on the final day of registration. After verifying their status in the system (graduation or probation), additional quota will be opened in Section 2 for eligible students.

No individual quota increases will be made under any other circumstances.

Econ 210 summer school classes will be online, but the exams will strictly be held in person.

Students who are required to take other ECON courses (ECON 101, ECON 211, etc...) cannot take Econ 210.

Course Assistants: Volkan Ahıskalı (ahiskali@metu.edu.tr) & Oğuzhan Çelik (oguzhanc@metu.edu.tr).

Students who contact us via email and have a valid reason for taking the course will be informed.
